About The Position

Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is looking for a first line Product & Services Test Quality Manager to join our team in Everett, WA. They will be supporting 777 Full Scale Structures fatigue testing and multiple BCA programs.

Requirements

To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
5+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventative Action, Root Cause Corrective Actions
5+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing
5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word
3+ years of experience in the application of AS9100

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree or higher, or equivalent work experience
Have or have held an Airframe and Power plant (A&P) License
Experience working in a Lab/Flight Test environment
3+ years of experience in Project Management
5+ years of experience in quality, lab test and/or metrology
3+ years of experience working with Regulatory agencies (e.g. DCMA, FAA)
3+ years of experience leading or facilitating continuous improvement/lean principles workshops

Responsibilities

Manage and track quality reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in various program developments
Supervises eight Quality Inspectors in the maintenance of the Full-Scale fatigue testing of the 777-9 aircraft structure and various tooling inspections
Participate with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation for commercial aircraft lab test programs
Oversee system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management
Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment
Participate in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes
Develop quality procedures
Work with minimal supervision
