About The Position

Boeing is hiring an Experienced Product Security Engineer (Integration) to join their team in Berkeley, MO. This role is part of the Boeing Anti-Tamper Engineering Capability Center, responsible for protecting critical computers across all defense products. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to products across Boeing’s entire defense portfolio, focusing on design, integration, and test engineering. Integration Engineers work with customers to define system requirements and architectures, oversee new designs, and manage the system life cycle through testing and fielding. The selected candidate will lead a small team of integration engineers to ensure Anti-Tamper (AT) best practices and common solutions are implemented across multiple Phantom Works programs. The team is expanding to develop new and unique protection solutions for both hardware and software domains across Boeing and supplier products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
  • 1 year experience in design, development, and integration of complex electronic systems or subsystems.
  • 1 year experience leading teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the anti-tamper or product security domains.
  • Experience supporting Military/Defense customers.
  • Experience in requirements analysis.
  • Experience or interest in cryptography, secure communications protocols and reverse engineering techniques at a system and component level.
  • Experience or interest in commercial off the shelf (COTS) FPGA's and COTS security features.
  • Active US Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Support development programs, research efforts, and strategic initiatives in the areas of Product Security / Anti-Tamper.
  • Develop requirements, documentation, test plans, and test procedures, and participate in verification activities for Anti-tamper development efforts.
  • Work with platform chief engineers, chief architects, and team leads to define platform architectures and implementations for advanced tactical capabilities.
