About The Position

Implementation of Software Security Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) applications, frameworks and workflows. Develop and support operational software applications for the Qualcomm Product Security Team. Interact with diverse technology teams to understand their processes and translate high-level requirements into production mission-critical deliverables. Support Qualcomm technology teams on security workflows with a focus on resolving production issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• At least two years of demonstrated development experience in at least one of: C#, .NET Core, Python, Java
• Experience in web-servers like IIS and in developing applications that run on them
• Experience in developing SQL/Stored procedures on at least one of the following databases: Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Oracle
• Administrator or developer experience with Linux operating system variants
• Strong familiarity with software security concepts and practices
• Strong debugging and triage skills to investigate complex issues, particularly in the area of vulnerability management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Security Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Security Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in React JS /ANT framework is a plus
• Experience with microservices architecture, API gateway, docker container, Kubernetes etc. is a plus
