About The Position

This position is responsible for representing the top volume driven product lines as a commercial outside salesperson. This position will be responsible for specific product line sales in the West Division. Will work closely with the product team.

Requirements

• Knowledge of equipment, materials and supplies used in heavy/highway construction work
• Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions
• Organized and self-motivated
• 2-4 years construction and/or traffic control experience
• Knowledge of highway safety

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Learn and represent the top 10 product lines, with a major focus on Attenuators, and Waterwall
• Stay abreast of trends to ensure competitive position
• Meet and liaison with District Caltrans Safety Engineers to determine product’s future direction
• Meet and liaison with Headquarters Personnel to guide new product approval processes
• Introducing new products to customers
• Mediate problems and answer questions
• Assist other vendors
• Get involved in organizations that promote highway safety
• Provide in-house training as needed
• Ability to travel up to 50%
