Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineering)
About The Position
The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineer) located in multiple St. Louis Sites (Berkeley, Hazelwood or St. Charles, MO). This role researches and builds knowledge of Boeing and engineering design principles to develop solutions for production or simple technical in-service issues. The engineer will assist with analyses, root cause analysis, and drafting dispositions for design non-conformances. They will also assist the system owner in preparing technical communications, identify analyses fleet data, and collect/evaluate data on customer findings for product/process improvement opportunities. Additionally, the role supports activities to identify deviations impacting design intent and safety, participates in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and assists with the design of interim structural repairs.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.
- Prior MRB authority
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Responsibilities
- Researches and builds knowledge of Boeing and engineering design principles in order to develop solutions to product/process issues for production or simple technical in-service issues.

- Assists system owner in preparation of technical communications.
- Identifies analyses fleet data, collects and evaluates data on customer findings for product/process improvement opportunities that may include recurrent product support issues.
- Supports activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety.
- Participates in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
- Assists with the design of interim structural repairs to restore damaged structure to original design strength capability.
