About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security team is seeking a Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineer) to support our 2nd shift operations in the St Louis area on the MQ-25 program. In this role, you’ll be part of a highly collaborative environment where your engineering expertise directly supports production, product integrity, safety, and mission readiness. As a Liaison Engineer, you will apply Boeing design principles and engineering judgment to assess, analyze, and resolve product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle. You’ll work cross-functionally with production, quality, suppliers, and engineering teams to investigate non-conformances, develop sound technical dispositions, and help drive timely, effective solutions. You will also help identify opportunities for product and process improvement, support design reviews and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and represent engineering in the build and post-production environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.
  • Experience performing Material Review Board (MRB) product review

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Analyze design non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and develop engineering dispositions.
  • Research and resolve technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be addressed through standard customer or production processes.
  • Develop interim and final engineering solutions to support safe, effective product operation.
  • Identify, document, and evaluate reported problems and deviations that may affect design intent, product integrity, or safety.
  • Communicate findings and recommend corrective actions to support timely resolution.
  • Develop and implement product and process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in design reviews.
  • Represent the engineering organization in the build and post-production environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Boeing standards across suppliers and build partners.
  • Develop customer correspondence and technical communications supporting continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Participate in on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation or support activities as needed.
  • Analyze damage repair and structural modification requirements, including jacking and shoring to prevent collateral damage and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Design interim structural repairs and conduct simple static strength analysis.
  • Develop non-destructive test procedures, tools, and standards.
  • Support Material Review Boards (MRBs) and other technical review forums.
  • Analyze fleet and field data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for product support improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and engineering communications
