About The Position

As part of our Product Quality Engineering team, you’ll be deeply involved in testing and validating innovative in-house and third-party hardware and software solutions. Requirements

Working experience with Python and Robot Framework.
Proven experience working with smart devices in a Linux OS environment.
Ability to methodically analyze and troubleshoot complex issues within consumer device products.
Proven ability to multitask effectively and work both independently and as part of a team; strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in productivity software suites (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Familiarity with the specific nuances of IoT, Home Security, or Smart Home Monitoring technology.
Experience in a fast-paced environment managing hardware/software validation from concept to launch.
Interest in advancing automated reporting efficiency and result accuracy.

Responsibilities

Execute and maintain comprehensive test plans for smart home devices and related software applications.
Ensure product and service quality through incoming quality control (IQC) inspections and adherence to established QA best practices.
Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to align quality control plans with evolving manufacturing processes.
Partner with hardware and software development teams to validate new designs and support certification testing.
Analyze and troubleshoot hardware/software issues; document findings and manage the end-to-end defect reporting lifecycle.
Log and debug devices using various wireless protocols, including Z-Wave, Matter, 4G/5G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and tools using Python and Robot Framework to improve test coverage and reporting efficiency.
