About The Position

At SanMar, the work you do makes a difference. The Product Quality Assurance (PQA) Color Specialist leads and supports the growing workload of color related tasks, enabling the team to concentrate on PQA color strategies, process improvements, and advancements. They support the PQA Color team in ensuring and maintaining the integrity of SanMar products from development through finished goods by focusing on quality and color standards.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of related experience in business administrative support responsibilities
• 4+ years of experience with data systems
• Capable of accurate collecting, understanding, and reporting data
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PDF and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Builds strong, reliable relationships with team members, cross-functional teams, and business partners
• Open to new ideas and adaptable to change
• Demonstrates flexibility, confidence, integrity, and a positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly driven, engaged, and proactive

Responsibilities

• Support Color Management projects and initiatives by evaluating options, coordinating with suppliers, and developing proposals for new technologies and projects that impact the department and business.
• Assist in developing color standards with a focus on quality and integrity, including providing technical support for color standards.
• Generate requests and track data or status updates as assigned.
• Handle data management, record keeping, and reporting, including auditing systems to ensure required data is captured.
• Edit and update documents, procedures, and forms for accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with Colorists to maintain a color filing system that best supports the business.
• Administer and execute the US office Official Production Color Standards (OPCS) program, including assembling OPCS standards.
• Provide strategic support to the PQA Color Team when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
