About The Position

Tuscan Dairy has an opening for a Product Puller for our Refrigerated Cooler! The schedule for this opening is 1st Shift, 9 AM - 5:30 PM, with days off on Sunday and Friday. This role involves performing a combination of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in product distribution, pulling and stacking product based on daily orders, and meeting customer order specifics in a timely manner. The position requires maintaining organized and properly rotated products, supporting preventative maintenance, monitoring product quality, and completing production and quality logs. Accurate counts on load tags and proper completion of all paperwork are essential. The role also involves identifying opportunities for process improvement, reporting food safety and quality issues, and maintaining safe working conditions in compliance with all regulations. Adherence to DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements is mandatory. While the listed responsibilities are comprehensive, other duties may be assigned as required.

Able to follow directions
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Must be able to read, write and speak English

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred
Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment

Responsibilities

Perform any combination of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of product
Pull and stack product based on daily orders
Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
Support preventative maintenance plans
Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues
Complete production and quality logs
Furnish accurate counts on load tags
Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s
Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
