This role is responsible for defining and executing pricing strategies that drive profitable growth in the automotive market. You will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze costs, market trends, and competitive positioning, providing actionable insights that inform business decisions. The ideal candidate combines financial acumen with strong analytical skills, delivering pricing recommendations that balance business objectives and market realities. You will lead internal pricing discussions, develop dashboards and reporting, and identify opportunities to optimize pricing models. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in pricing, finance, or related business roles
  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • Proven experience managing and evolving pricing processes across cross-functional teams
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including understanding of revenue, margin, and pricing drivers
  • Proficiency in Excel and Tableau for financial modeling and reporting
  • Experience performing competitive analysis to inform market positioning
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise high ownership
  • Experience managing projects with multiple business partners and implementing process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute pricing strategies for complex automotive sales opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional pricing discussions and provide guidance to business teams
  • Partner with Business Intelligence teams to create dashboards, analytics, and reporting on pricing performance, discounting trends, and market segmentation
  • Conduct audits on billing and pricing to identify errors and recommend corrective actions
  • Identify and propose new pricing models to support business growth
  • Incorporate deep understanding of products, operations, and cost drivers into pricing recommendations
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives related to pricing and financial operations
