About The Position

The Product Portfolio Manager, WestJet App, is a senior leadership role responsible for defining, governing, and delivering the strategy and roadmap for WestJet’s guest-facing iOS and Android applications. This role is accountable for transforming the WestJet App into the definitive day-of-travel companion for every guest—a proactive, intelligent mobile experience that supports travelers from pre-trip planning through post-landing, including real-time disruption support, flight status, check-in, boarding passes, loyalty access, and personalized communications. WestJet App is being reimagined—not maintained—and this role leads to that evolution. The successful candidate will bring deep mobile product expertise, a builder’s mindset, and the leadership presence to align cross-functional teams around a bold product vision. Operating in an agile environment, the Product Portfolio Manager provides portfolio ownership, strategic direction, and people leadership while serving as a trusted partner to business, technology, and executive stakeholders. The role owns the app's product strategy and roadmap, ensuring investments deliver measurable guest and commercial outcomes. This highly visible role partners across multiple product portfolios and technology teams, working closely with Guest Experience, Day of Travel, Marketing, Pricing & Revenue, Loyalty & Partnerships, and Guest Support to translate business strategy into product outcomes and measurable OKRs. While Day of Travel remains central to the app experience, sustained growth also requires a strong focus on the guest experience. This role ensures the guest perspective remains at the center of product strategy, driving cohesive experiences that strengthen loyalty and engagement.
