About The Position

AutoPayPlus is looking for a Product Owner to join their growing team. This is a fully onsite position in Orlando, Florida. Candidates must currently reside in the Orlando area. AutoPayPlus is a fast-growing fintech company dedicated to helping its members build financial stability through smart payment solutions. The team is driven by innovation, integrity, and a commitment to delivering five-star service. The Product Owner will play a key role in defining, prioritizing, and delivering products and features that create measurable value for members, partners, and the business. They will serve as the voice of the customer and the business, translating strategic goals and complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for the Engineering teams. The role involves working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Sales, Compliance, QA, and Executive Leadership to ensure the right solutions are built at the right time.

Requirements

Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or in a similar product-focused role
Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset
The ability to manage competing priorities while staying focused on business value
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile planning tools
An understanding of web applications, APIs, and modern software development practices
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
The ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams
A passion for improving customer experiences, operational efficiency, and business outcomes

Responsibilities

Own and prioritize product backlogs aligned with company goals and strategic initiatives
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders across the organization
Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements
Partner closely with Engineering to clarify requirements and refine upcoming work
Make day-to-day prioritization decisions that maximize customer and business value
Collaborate with Product Management on product vision, roadmap priorities, and release planning
Work with QA to ensure completed features meet business expectations
Use customer feedback, support trends, operational insights, and business metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, automate workflows, and drive innovation
