About The Position

Clarivate Analytics (US) LLC is seeking a Product Owner to acquire and interpret business requirements, work with business partners to understand pain points, prioritize requirements, and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency. The role involves enhancing the current data warehouse platform and supporting data architecture to transform data environments into a highly valued business asset supporting the dynamic data science and analytics needs of the future, leveraging appropriate technologies. The Product Owner will partner closely with Architect peers and Information Management design teams, as well as business stakeholders. This role requires utilizing experience and skills for building integrations with the AWS platform (Redshift, S3, Data Pipeline and Glue) and delivering accurate solutions as planned. Responsibilities include performing technical analysis, ETL design, development, testing, and deployment of IT solutions as needed by business or IT. The Product Owner will prepare detailed Technical Design Documents (TDD) and indicate the data flow from sources to targets. They will develop complex ETL jobs from various sources (Databases and other files) and load them into target databases using Talend ETL tool, handle enhancement requests for existing Talend Jobs, and troubleshoot and fix Production Issues based on priority and on-call support based on project/business needs. This position does not have formal hire/fire authority.

Requirements

Master's degree in Business Administration, Product Management, Computer Science, or a related field and a minimum of four years of related experience, OR a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Product Management, Computer Science, or a related field and a minimum of six years of related experience
Four years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, Project Manager, or Software Engineer
3 years of experience with defining and communicating product vision, strategy, and roadmap
3 years of experience with collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and stakeholders to drive product decisions
3 years of experience with managing product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria throughout the development lifecycle
2 years of experience with data-driven product decisions and analytics
2 years of experience with agile and scrum methodologies
2 years of experience with backlog prioritization and management
2 years of experience with stakeholder management and communication to align business objectives with technical capabilities
Experience working with product management tools and platforms
Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to meet defined project goals and timelines

Nice To Haves
