Product Owner, Asset Management

Luma Financial Technologies•Cincinnati, OH
•$130,000 - $170,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Luma Financial Technologies is expanding into asset management and seeks a Product Owner to lead product delivery for ETFs, Actively Managed Certificates (AMCs), Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), and related products across its Lifecycle Manager and Product Marketplace platforms, including the data connectivity that supports them. This external-facing role manages client and partner relationships through requirements, design, testing, and launch, and calls for strong organizational discipline, adaptability, and sound judgment in balancing near-term execution with longer-term platform objectives. The Product Owner leads end-to-end delivery using Luma’s AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC), from discovery and design through development, QA, release, and post-launch evaluation. They translate complex asset-management workflows into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; manage competing initiatives; collaborate with Engineering on planning and delivery; and coordinate with business stakeholders, clients, and market participants. The role also owns the roadmap for data connectivity with ETF providers, DTCC, custodians, and other participants, and applies asset-management expertise to ensure platform workflows reflect market practices. The role partners with UX and design teams, conducts UAT, supports QA, improves reporting and workflows, coordinates support and release readiness, and creates product documentation, training, and release communications. It also coordinates across product lines to promote shared standards, scalable design, and clear management of dependencies. The successful candidate is expected to use AI-enabled product and design tools—including tools for prototyping, requirements, test scenarios, and delivery—to improve product execution.
