About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and customer-focused Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of mortgage servicing solutions. This role involves end-to-end product ownership, including requirements gathering, Agile planning, customer discovery, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of mortgage servicing, particularly in Escrow and Delinquency reporting, and will serve as a bridge between business needs and technical execution. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!. This role is located at a client site in either Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of mortgage servicing processes, especially Escrow and Loan Defaults.
  • Experience in Agile product development, including story writing, backlog management, and sprint planning.
  • Ability to synthesize customer insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Skilled in data and process modeling, story mapping, and product road mapping.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience in risk assessment and control design.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate across teams and departments.
  • Familiarity with investor reporting and go-to-market strategies.
  • Proficiency in developing internal and external communication materials.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in product management or mortgage servicing.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
