About The Position

MD Finance is an international FinTech company building and scaling online lending products across Europe, LATAM, and Asia. Its core markets include Romania and Czechia, with active operations in Spain, Mexico, and India. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager / Product Owner to take ownership of key product domains and drive measurable business impact across the customer journey.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager owning a product domain in a B2C environment (CPO-1 / Senior IC level), ideally within a multi-market organization.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes, including improvements in conversion, revenue, retention or similar product metrics - not just feature delivery.
  • Strong expertise in product discovery, customer development (CustDev), backlog management, prioritization and writing high-quality product requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience working with funnels, cohorts, A/B testing, and dashboards, with the ability to independently analyze product performance.
  • Experience in at least one of the following industries: FinTech, Consumer Lending, BNPL, large-scale E-commerce, Marketplace, Dating, Gambling, Forex or another high-volume B2C business.
  • Comfortable working in an artifact-driven environment, producing structured analyses, product specifications, and dashboards rather than presentation-based status reports.
  • Fluent English with experience collaborating in fully remote, distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Own a product domain end-to-end (e.g. Acquisition Funnel, Lending Core, Repeat & Retention), taking full ownership of its vision, roadmap, delivery, and business outcomes.
  • Translate company strategy and market priorities into a well-prioritized, sequenced product backlog, balancing the needs of local markets with a centralized product vision.
  • Establish a baseline-first approach by defining key success metrics (activation, conversion, retention), controlling variables, and running continuous feedback loops, ensuring no feature is scaled without proven business impact.
  • Apply the Pareto principle by focusing on the 20% of initiatives that generate 80% of the domain's value, while continuously removing low-impact backlog items.
  • Lead customer discovery and validation (CustDev), ensuring customer demand is validated before development begins.
  • Write clear, testable product requirements, including problem statements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics, enabling Product Managers and Engineering teams to execute with minimal clarification.
  • Own the delivery cadence together with Product Managers and Engineering, ensuring predictable throughput, healthy backlog management, and efficient handoffs.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Risk, Operations, Collections, and Legal to deliver measurable business outcomes rather than simply shipping features.
  • Provide data-driven reporting through funnel and cohort analysis, experiment results, roadmap progress, and product impact dashboards, not status updates.
  • Continuously identify product opportunities, validate new ideas, and implement improvements and best practices across the domain.
