We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Product Owner to drive the tactical development of Equifax’s Ignite Ecosystem. While Product Leadership defines the "why" and the "what," you will own the "how"—translating our product vision into technical reality. You will serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and the engineering team, ensuring that every sprint delivers maximum value and aligns with our broader business outcomes. What you’ll do Keys functions this role is responsible for is as follows: Support in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements Maintain a prioritized backlog Translate business needs into clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria Work with stakeholders to manage expectations and communicate fulfillment dates Support in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings Intake, understand, and define requirements that support enhancement requests Review and sign-off on the alignment of deliverables to requirements Coordinate releases with technology Work with Ignite cross-functional partners to understand and implement agreed upon enhancements that arise from roadmap prioritizations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline strongly preferred; equivalent experience may be considered; Product Management certifications is a plus
• 3-5 years of product owner/manager experience or related coursework and project based experience
• Experience writing detailed product requirements is fundamental and required and must demonstrate a solid understanding of product design, commercial model and packaging discussions
• Possesses a deep understanding of customer needs through market and industry research and analysis of competitors
• Can use strong knowledge of competitive landscape to anticipate, articulate and drive high-potential opportunities that demonstrate competitive advantage
• Is capable of setting the vision and ensure its alignment with strategy and goals
• Interact with key decisions-makers within own function and across related functions to successfully navigate Equifax’ organization
• Has an understanding of data structure &, data analytics, relevant experience in financial services is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated ability to lead efforts in a highly matrixed environment
• Experience in Product tools required (Aha, JIRA, Figma)
• You have been exposed to SaaS products, web or mobile application development
• You possess familiarity with UX/UI best practices
• You are a self-starter who takes initiative with minimal direction, and understands concepts quickly
• You understand the value of product management and can effectively communicate to various stakeholders
• You have an aptitude for handling multiple, concurrent demands and prioritizing responsibilities in a dynamic, high energy environment
