About The Position

Our growing team is looking for a Product Owner – Oracle Cloud EPM! This role is responsible for the effective delivery, integration, and ongoing management of Intact’s Oracle EPM Cloud application portfolio. This role ensures the EPM platforms (FCCS, EDMCS, EPCM, PCMCS, Freeform, EPBCS) reliably support core finance processes (planning, forecasting, close and related performance management activities), and that solutions align with the organization’s strategic objectives. The PO partners closely with FP&A, Business Units, Corporate Finance, and internal/external audit teams to drive adoption, governance, controls, and continuous improvement. This role supports multiple Oracle EPM Cloud modules. Candidates are not expected to have experience with every module listed—please apply if you have strong experience in one or more Oracle EPM areas, and we will align scope to the modules that best match your background.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in financial systems and accounting principles including hands-on platform administration or product ownership.
  • Oracle EPM Cloud applications is a significant asset (metadata/dimensions, business rules, SmartView, security) across one or more modules (e.g., FCCS, EPBCS/Planning, EDMCS, ARCS, PCMCS, Freeform).
  • Experience with different finance reports models is an asset.
  • Excellent skills to communicate and present with the ability to interact with both technical and Finance stakeholders.
  • Strong grasp of finance concepts (close, consolidation, MD&A, reconciliations, Management Statements) and controls (NI 52-109).
  • Understands business and systems processes, as well as master the different data flows.
  • Analytical, pragmatic problem-solver with a bias for documentation, standards, and scalable design.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator and Product Owner for Oracle EPM Cloud applications (e.g., Planning, Consolidation, Account Reconciliation, Tax Reporting, Enterprise Data Management, Profitability/Cost Management as applicable).
  • Own the product roadmap and backlog intake, prioritization, value definition, and delivery sequencing with Finance and technology stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain governance, standards, and operating procedures (design principles, naming conventions, environments, release cadence, access model).
  • Champion adoption and change management, ensuring solutions are usable, scalable, and measurable in business value.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into EPM designs and configurations (business processes, dimensions/metadata, forms/grids/templates, rules/validations, calculations, reconciliations, task orchestration, reporting as applicable).
  • Design and implement best practices across the EPM landscape (security model, data standards, auditability, performance, maintainability).
  • Coordinate with internal teams and implementation partners on solution design, testing strategy, cutover planning, and hypercare.
  • Own end-to-end data flows into/out of EPM (source systems, transformations, mappings, validation controls, and downstream consumers).
  • Configure and monitor integrations and automated pipelines (scheduling, dependencies, error handling, reconciliations, and data quality checks).
  • Partner with Finance to enable consistent reporting and analysis experiences (including Excel-based and web-based consumption methods where applicable).
  • Configure and maintain Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including metadata/dimensions, rules/automations, security, environments, and integration jobs.
  • Lead change and release management (impact assessment, testing, approvals, deployment, and communications); maintain solution design and process documentation.
  • Proactively propose enhancements and new designs to improve user experience, automation, reliability, and controllership outcomes.
  • Maintain access controls and segregation of duties; ensure audit-ready configurations and evidence supporting NI 52-109 (Operational and IT).
  • Provide user support and enablement through training, office hours, and documentation; promote effective usage of platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors on process and control design, evidence collection, and remediation activities.
