About The Position
As a Product Owner ll, you will be responsible for defining and delivering product value by managing and prioritizing the product backlog. Your role will include serving as the critical link between business and stakeholders and the data development team ensuring solutions meet business needs. The Product Owner works closely with data focused teams, gathers requirements, defines user stories, and facilitates agile delivery process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in a product owner, business analysis, or a similar role.
- Experience in software development environments, with an understanding of Agile processes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience working in a data focused environment with an emphasis working with SQL, Report Writing, Data Modeling or Snowflake.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner certification.
Responsibilities
- Own, prioritize and maintain the product backlog in alignment with business goals.
- Write clear and detailed user stories, acceptance criteria and requirements for development team.
- Ensure backlog items are ready for sprint planning and execution.
- Work closely with developers, designers, and QA to ensure efficient and high-quality product delivery.
- Actively participate and lead Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, retrospectives).
- Act as the primary point of contact for the development team regarding feature details and clarifications.
- Make real-time decisions on trade-offs, priorities, and adjustments to meet sprint goals.
- Assist in identifying and resolving product-related risks, dependencies, and impediments.
- Maintain clear and effective documentation, including product requirements, roadmaps, and release notes.
- Provide updates and insights on product progress to leadership and stakeholders.
