As a Product Owner II within PNC's Retail Lending organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, PA; Wilmington, DE; or Washington, DC. PNC is seeking to transform its Retail Lending Business, and as a Product Owner II, you will play a critical part in this journey. You will lead the discovery and delivery of customer and employee experiences across Retail Lending portfolio. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about customer experiences, driving innovation through technology, product strategy and have a track record of delivering results. The successful candidate Will collaborate with the Senior Product Owner and Business Stakeholders to understand the vision, roadmap, features and releases for customer journeys. Will collaborate with the Senior Product Owner and Business Stakeholders to facilitate customer research, designs, prototypes, and other exploration activities. Will be responsible for defining, refining, accepting, and prioritizing stories according to business value, risk, stakeholder priorities, and complexity. Partner with Senior Product owners to own and maintain one scrum team’s backlog to streamline execution. Will partner with BSAs, Tech Leads and Scrum teams to execute upon this work. Participate in the program and team events including quarterly planning, demos, daily scrums, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospectives. Manage activities for completion and proper documentation of business requirements and validate metrics as appropriate for methodology and Enterprise controls. Must be self-directed with strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, written and verbal communication skills. Has good business sense and technical foundation to establish priorities and appropriate tradeoffs for system functionality and performance. Will work with the team with a MVP philosophy to deliver frequent, reliable, desirable and scalable software solutions. Requirements

  • Must be self-directed with strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Has good business sense and technical foundation to establish priorities and appropriate tradeoffs for system functionality and performance.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the vision and the definition of the product.
  • Serves as the voice of the customer.
  • Provides guidance to concentrate the Scrum Team(s) effort on correct priorities based on business value.
  • Defines and conveys the vision to the team(s) in order to address client requirements to meet business objectives.
  • Accountable for the creation of and the integrity of the product backlog.
  • Prioritizes and leads grooming of the product backlog.
  • Works in partnership with the Scrum Master(s) to ensure items are worked on in accordance with the product backlog.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for questions from the team(s).
  • Accepts delivery of working product from the Scrum Teams(s).
  • Reviews and validates Scrum Team(s) working product.
  • Socializes the delivery of business value and outcomes of the iteration to various stakeholders.
