About The Position

The GRS Client Journey team is building the future of self-serve retirement services. As Product Owner for our retiree digital experience, you'll lead an agile team in creating intuitive digital functionality that makes transitioning into, and managing retirement accessible and engaging for our clients. You'll be at the forefront of our digital wealth platform transformation, working with cross-functional partners to shape the retiree experience for clients managing their retirement income, balance business priorities with user needs to deliver meaningful features, drive the complete lifecycle from vision to execution, including change management and success measurement, and make strategic decisions that directly impact millions of clients.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze options and recommend optimal solutions
  • Sound grasp of financial and accounting concepts

  • Champion of experimentation and innovation
  • Skilled at empowering teams to take risks, learn from failures, and grow
  • University degree in Marketing, Business, or Information Technology
  • Significant strategic experience with focus on business model evolution and digital transformation
  • Demonstrated expertise in mobile product development and digital channels

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate an ambitious product vision that aligns with team strategy and organizational goals
  • Partner with business leaders to establish product business value and support customer communication initiatives
  • Stay current on market trends and competitive solutions to identify opportunities for innovation
  • Translate user needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria using market and industry insights
  • Prioritize and maintain a healthy backlog that keeps the team prepared 3-4 sprints ahead
  • Own the end-to-end delivery strategy from concept to production launch
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure digital products meet business requirements
  • Set and track product-specific OKRs, providing regular progress updates to stakeholders
  • Champion simplicity in design and development to accelerate time-to-market and enable faster customer feedback
  • Monitor launched digital assets and develop frameworks to measure the impact of improvements
  • Identify and propose experimentation opportunities through test-and-learn approaches
  • Continuously optimize product performance based on data and user insights
  • Oversee business and operational change management activities from planning through completion
  • Implement timelines, track progress, and proactively manage risks and dependencies across initiatives
