About The Position
The Product Owner / Business Analyst will gather, analyze, and document business requirements for KYC and client onboarding processes. The role works closely with Compliance, AML, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams to define requirements and improve KYC/CDD/EDD workflows. It supports customer onboarding, periodic reviews, remediation, and KYC data management, while identifying process gaps, risks, and opportunities for automation and optimization. The position coordinates with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC, supports UAT, defect analysis, and business validation, and ensures solutions align with regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking/Financial Services.
- Strong hands-on experience in KYC, client onboarding, AML, CDD, and EDD.
- Strong requirements-gathering and documentation skills.
- Experience with BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and UAT.
- Good understanding of banking operations, compliance, and regulatory processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with KYC platforms, client lifecycle management, or regulatory technology.
- Knowledge of SQL, data mapping, APIs, and system integrations.
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence or similar tools.
