About The Position

Responsible for the coordination, preparation, submission, approval, and implementation of company products. This role serves as a liaison between R&D staff, other departments, and committees on product development issues. The analyst will understand filing requirements and communicate with regulatory authorities to ensure company compliance. They will also train and assist R&D staff in product development project work and complete other assigned projects and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of two (2) year’s experience within the insurance industry
  • Substantial knowledge of actuarial operations, rating, policy forms and endorsements
  • Strong communication, decision-making, organizational, analytical and Excel skills
  • Working knowledge relating to rate formulation and the regulatory approval process
  • Ability to effectively interface with external contacts, Brotherhood employees, and department staff members
  • Familiarity with church operations and conduct oneself in a manner that will neither alienate nor offend persons within this target niche.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in leading teams or in managing staff is desired.
  • The CPCU designation is desired.
