About The Position

Responsible for the coordination, preparation, submission, approval, and implementation of company products. This role involves serving as a liaison between R&D staff, other departments, and committees on product development issues. The analyst will also communicate and negotiate with regulatory authorities to ensure company compliance and train, coach, and assist R&D staff in their product development project work. Additional projects and reports as assigned.

Requirements

  • Possess strong communication, decision-making, organizational, analytical and Excel skills.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge relating to rate formulation and the regulatory approval process.
  • Effectively interface with external contacts, Brotherhood employees, and department staff members.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) year’s experience within the insurance industry.
  • Must have substantial knowledge of actuarial operations, rating, policy forms and endorsements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in leading teams or in managing staff is desired.
  • The CPCU designation is desired.
  • Persons in this position must be familiar with church operations and must conduct themselves in a manner that will neither alienate nor offend persons within this target niche.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the filing requirements and communicate and negotiate with regulatory authorities to ensure company compliance in the product approval and implementation process.
  • Train, coach, and assist R&D staff in the completion of their product development project work.
  • Complete other projects and reports as assigned.
