This role requires a rare blend of deep technical printing industry acumen, strategic market analysis, and the entrepreneurial capability to build ground-up commercialization frameworks. The ideal candidate will design, execute, and optimize multi-channel sales motions spanning hybrid Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), big-box retail, and traditional dealer networks. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of wide-format digital inkjet printing technology, including hardware systems, software ecosystems, inks, substrates, and finishing applications.
  • Proven track record of managing marketing or sales enablement strategies across hybrid models: specifically, corporate dealer networks, DTC e-commerce platforms, and major electronics/big-box retailers.
  • Demonstrated experience launching new products from scratch, including market sizing, customer persona creation, pricing architecture, and localizing global products for domestic markets.
  • Strong analytical capability to synthesize market research, financial indicators, data analytics, and performance metrics (CAC, LTV, sell-through) into actionable business intelligence.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Proficient in company-provided hardware and software.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and execute comprehensive, end-to-end GTM strategies for new products, software, and ink introductions, coordinating across engineering, creative, and sales teams.
  • Establish, scale, and optimize distinct value propositions and operational frameworks for a hybrid revenue model encompassing DTC e-commerce, national big-box electronics retailers (e.g., B&H, Adorama), and specialized dealer channels.
  • Oversee growth and demand generation efforts (SEM, paid social, email) to optimize the DTC conversion funnel, balancing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Lifetime Value (LTV) metrics.
  • Act as the primary strategic interface for key national retail accounts; manage merchandising strategies, promotional calendars, and co-marketing placements to maximize retail sell-through.
  • Manage the operational and commercial product setup—including pricing strategy, Bill of Materials (BOM) definition, and inventory purchasing planning.
  • Own and support the financial health and profit-and-loss metrics for assigned business segments, aligning commercial activities with top-line growth and healthy margins.
  • Act as the voice of the market to global engineering teams, leveraging customer advocacy, beta testing data, and trend monitoring to influence the long-term product roadmap.
  • Translate complex, technical wide-format hardware and chemical capabilities into high-impact positioning, unique selling propositions (USPs), and target personas.
  • Provide the core marketing team with defined messaging frameworks, keyword strategies (SEO/SEM), and content directives to ensure accurate, unified outbound digital and print campaigns.
  • Maintain an active pulse on prosumer sentiment, competitor product rollouts, and pricing shifts to develop battle cards, white papers, and defensive positioning guides.
  • Create and deliver technical sales training, product demonstration guidelines, and market update playbooks for internal sales personnel, dealers/distributors, and retail store/e-commerce staff.
  • Develop and maintain "Product Launch Kits" to ensure all channel partners, content specialist and sales representatives have accurate technical specifications, assets, and objection-handling tools.
  • Collaborate across sales, marketing, and business systems functions to refine the lead-handoff funnel and analyze overall campaign effectiveness.
