Product Marketing Manager

ProEdge Dental•Centennial, CO
•$115,000 - $140,000•Hybrid

About The Position

ProEdge Dental Water Labs is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to own the commercial story for every product they sell. This role involves defining what is said, to whom it is said, and the evidence that supports these claims. Currently, there is no single owner for product marketing, leading to inconsistent messaging across different buyer segments (independent practices, multi-location groups, dealer reps, clinical educators). The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating a positioning framework, a claims register, and a launch process from scratch. This is a build-it role, not a maintenance role, requiring someone who can develop strategies and processes where none currently exist. The position reports to the Director of Marketing, who sets company-level positioning, and will work closely with R&D, Sales, Customer Success, and distribution partners. The core principle is that nothing reaches the market unsubstantiated, requiring deep dives into R&D data, sales calls, and direct interaction with dentists.

Requirements

  • Ability to find the argument nobody else has made.
  • Preference for building things from scratch rather than inheriting existing structures.
  • Willingness to be in R&D data, on sales calls, and talking to dentists.
  • Commitment to the principle that nothing reaches the market unsubstantiated.
  • Ability to speak candidly, do what you say, and own mistakes (Build trust).
  • Ability to choose the mission over comfort, clarify expectations, and engage in feedback (Serve the team above ourselves).
  • Ability to take ownership of customer experience, deliver quality, and treat every customer as valuable (Delight our customers).
  • Ability to make the goal plain, speak up when unsure, and close the loop when clarity is at risk (Create clarity).
  • Ability to drive own growth, fix the root cause, and make the better way repeatable (Improve).

Responsibilities

  • Own product positioning and the portfolio story, building positioning for each product and the portfolio as a whole, underneath company-level positioning. Define how products relate, what belongs together, and the path from one product to a full compliance program.
  • Develop different arguments for different audiences, including independent practices, DSOs, dealer reps, and clinical educators.
  • Build and maintain the claims register, documenting what is said, the evidence behind it, who approved it, and when it was last reviewed, in collaboration with R&D and quality teams.
  • Identify where evidence falls short and recommend studies to close the gap, directing the R&D team towards arguments that can be won.
  • Own launch and relaunch processes, establishing readiness gates and repositioning underperforming products, including recommending pricing and packaging.
  • Arm sales and the channel with value narratives, objection handling, and proof points, deciding on enablement material content and taking on more production directly as fluency grows.
  • Direct dealer and distribution marketing, deciding on promotions, product focus, and briefing creative teams on channel-specific needs.
  • Understand the market and competition through structured win/loss analysis with field reps, competitive tracking, and understanding buyer versus user needs.
  • Build a recurring channel to feed market insights back to product development.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $115,000–$140,000 plus annual bonus review
  • Employee Medical, Dental, & Vision + Spouse and Dependent contributions
  • 4% Pre-Tax Employer Match 401k
  • Accrued paid time off (PTO) earning up to 4 weeks annually
  • 1 Week of Paid Synchronized Organizational Rest at Year-End
  • 6 Additional Paid Holidays
  • Employer-paid short-term and long-term disability insurance, paid life insurance
