About The Position

OneCrew is seeking its first marketing leader to define and execute its market positioning, driving qualified pipeline and revenue. This is a go-to-market ownership role requiring collaboration across product, sales, and leadership to translate product value into market impact and measurable growth. The role involves owning positioning, messaging, pipeline strategy, sales enablement, product launches, website conversion, customer insights, pricing support, competitive intelligence, and performance measurement.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, ideally SMB or mid-market field service, vertical SaaS, or construction tech.
  • Proven experience building positioning and messaging frameworks.
  • Proven experience running launches tied to business outcomes.
  • Proven experience enabling sales teams to win real deals.
  • Experience working directly with sales (calls, QBRs, deal support).
  • 3-7 years in a high-performance strategic, analytical, or operational role (strategy consulting, investment banking, PE, BizOps, founder, chief of staff, or similar) - Path B.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence GTM strategy, messaging, or buying decisions in a real-world environment - Path B.
  • Deep interest in how markets are won: positioning, category design, buyer psychology - Path B.
  • Comfort owning outcomes in ambiguity.
  • Ability to quickly learn new industries, products, and tools.
  • Fluency (or fast ramp) in HubSpot, Google Analytics, and data analysis.
  • Exceptional communication and the ability to explain complex value simply.
  • Strong prioritization and project management across multiple initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing to contractors, tradespeople, or non-tech-native buyers.
  • Background in competitive intelligence or win/loss programs.
  • Experience at a Series A or B company building PMM from zero.
  • Familiarity with vertical SaaS leaders like ServiceTitan or Procore.

Responsibilities

  • Own OneCrew's positioning and messaging across three segments: scaling paving operations, mid-market commercial paving, and PE-backed roll-ups and enterprise.
  • Build and refine messaging frameworks, value propositions, and talk tracks for deal usage, ensuring clear market and sales team understanding of competitive advantages.
  • Own the translation of positioning into pipeline by driving ICP definition, segment prioritization, campaign strategy (outbound, inbound, partnerships, events), and consistent messaging across buyer touchpoints.
  • Develop assets and systems for sales enablement, including pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, objection handling, ROI models, demo narratives, email sequences, and follow-up frameworks.
  • Partner directly with sales to identify deal blockages and improve messaging, positioning, or process to drive closing rates.
  • Own the full launch motion for new product capabilities, from positioning and narrative to sales training, customer communication, and in-product messaging, ensuring measurable outcomes.
  • Own messaging across the website, landing pages, and campaign flows, ensuring consistency between market perception, sales communication, and product delivery.
  • Establish customer and market insight loops through interviews, sales call participation, QBRs, and win/loss analysis to continuously refine positioning, ICP, and buying triggers.
  • Support leadership on pricing strategy, packaging, SKUs, and monetization, owning market communication and adoption of changes.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence, translating insights into battlecards, sales strategies, and product recommendations to answer how to win deals.
  • Instrument and own performance measurement across pipeline creation/quality, win rates, deal velocity, launch impact, and messaging/campaign effectiveness, optimizing based on results.
