About The Position

Waterfield Tech is an AI-first business, with an initiative called A1B where AI is integrated into daily workflows across all teams. The Product Marketing Intern will report to the Director of Product Marketing and will be responsible for creating marketing collateral, website content, and social media to communicate Waterfield's value proposition. This role involves using AI tools as a co-worker in the creative process. The position is fully remote and contract-based, with the potential for full-time conversion. It offers an opportunity for early-career professionals to build a portfolio in the tech industry by working on meaningful projects with real tools and contributing to the company's operational transformation.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • A design portfolio that shows range and taste, including the thinking behind the work.
  • Strong visual design fundamentals: composition, typography, color, layout.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, or Canva.
  • Real, daily experience using AI for creative work, with the ability to explain the workflow and AI's role.
  • Strong writing skills for social copy, short-form marketing content, and briefs.
  • Self-direction: ability to manage own time, flag issues early, and deliver without constant supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with B2B technology marketing, SaaS, or the contact center and CX industry.
  • Experience with a CMS (WordPress, Webflow, or HubSpot) and social scheduling tools.
  • Video editing for short-form social content (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or After Effects).
  • Comfort reading engagement data and adjusting approach based on insights.
  • Motion graphics or animation skills.
  • Genuine curiosity about how AI is reshaping creative work and knowledge work.

Responsibilities

  • Design product marketing collateral: one-pagers, case study layouts, battle cards, and sales enablement materials.
  • Create and update website visuals: landing page graphics, blog images, product imagery, and hero images.
  • Run social media across LinkedIn and other channels, including drafting posts, designing assets, scheduling content, and tracking performance.
  • Use AI throughout the creative process to generate drafts, explore visual concepts, and iterate on layouts.
  • Support product launches and campaigns with graphics, email templates, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Coordinate with the product marketing team on timelines, content calendars, and creative reviews.
