About The Position

Octus is seeking an execution-focused Product Marketing Intern to join their team at their New York City headquarters. This role is designed for an individual who wants to gain hands-on experience in content curation and executing high-impact marketing communications within a fast-paced B2B environment. The intern will collaborate with the Product Marketing team to ensure content discoverability across internal and external channels and equip internal teams with up-to-date materials. This is a part-time (20 hours per week) internship lasting approximately 3 months.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Some exposure to marketing, communications, or related coursework or experience (internships, student organizations, or class projects are welcome).
  • Familiarity with web CMS platforms or marketing tools is a plus; willingness to learn tools like Pardot or Pendo is more important than prior mastery.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage organized libraries of information.
  • Comfort working with data and a curiosity to ask 'what does good performance look like?' when reviewing metrics.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and a commitment to quality and brand standards.
  • Resourcefulness and curiosity: take the initiative to learn about Octus, how we serve our customers, and how our customers use our products.

Responsibilities

  • Support web tagging initiatives for Octus articles to improve site architecture.
  • Curate, organize, and externally publish Octus coverage that drives traffic.
  • Assist in building, QAing, and publishing blog posts optimized for SEO and AI Optimization (AIO).
  • Assist in the build of customer, cross-sell, and prospecting newsletter programs.
  • Support presentation development for events and webinars.
  • Assist with quality control and curate supplemental materials for events and webinars.
  • Help maintain the library of educational and sales presentations for the global team.
  • Assist in reporting on Product Marketing content usage by the Commercial Team.
  • Help identify high-performing and low-performing content to enhance materials and overall content performance.
