About The Position

VersaFile is a fast-growing software company that specializes in attachment and data archiving solutions for SAP, SuccessFactors and other Enterprise Software applications, seamlessly integrating with a variety of document management systems. Our clean core approach empowers enterprises to manage their SAP data lifecycle more efficiently and compliantly. We are looking for an entry-level Product Marketing Coordinator to support the research, positioning, launch, and ongoing growth of business technology products and solutions. This is an ideal entry-level opportunity for a recent business or marketing graduate with an internship or co-op experience who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in product marketing, market research, technology solutions, and go-to-market strategy. In this role, you will help research and understand product features, customer needs, market demand, competitor positioning, and industry trends. You will also support sales enablement initiatives, lead generation activities, and ongoing product growth strategies. This position will have you working out of our Gastown office three days a week.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with a degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Curious mindset with an interest in technology products and business solutions
  • Ability to synthesize information and present insights clearly
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a wiliness to learn
  • Self-starter who is proactive and resourceful

Nice To Haves

  • Internship, co-op, or project experience in marketing, research, business analysis, or technology is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with SaaS or enterprise software products is an asset
  • Technical SAP exposure is an asset
  • Experience with presentation tools and spreadsheets
  • Understanding of product marketing, customer journeys, or market research concepts is beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and competitor research on specific products to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs
  • Research and analyze product features, functionalities, and industry demand
  • Help define customer profiles, target audiences, and market positioning
  • Support the development of product messaging, presentations, and sales materials
  • Assist with go-to-market planning and product launch coordination
  • Coordinate launch activities across internal teams such as Sales, Marketing and Development
  • Support lead generation and sales support initiatives following product launches
  • Maintain product documentation, competitive analysis, and research reports
  • Assist with customer and market analysis to support product strategy decisions
  • Monitor marketplace trends and emerging technologies
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and leadership teams to support product growth initiatives
