About The Position

Zoic Labs is an Experience Engineering company, focused on the strategic design and development of immersive, interactive and user-centric experiences. We blend principles of UX/UI design, psychology, advanced technology, and storytelling to create seamless, engaging, and functional digital and physical interactions. Our dynamic and multi-disciplinary team has deep expertise in video game, XR, and web tool design and leverages a robust product development pipeline. We work for a diverse mix of government and commercial clients. The Product Manager works closely with the Zoic Labs leadership team, software development team, and clients to develop advanced software products with a focus on data visualization, UI/UX design, web applications, and VR/AR/MR. This position will involve working on client commercial products and government focused products for the U.S. Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be self-directed, while collaborating closely with a diverse team.

Requirements

Experience specifically in the management of software product development.
Must have experience as a Product Manager delivering multiple projects end-to-end with small to medium sized cross functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technical subjects quickly, communicate effectively, and appreciate technical subtleties.
Demonstrated ability to navigate successfully in an ambiguous environment with flexible infrastructure and process, with a positive attitude.
US Citizenship is Required.

Nice To Haves

Experience managing software products with graphics and/or visualization related features.
Experience delivering projects for U.S. government clients
BS in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience), with 3-5 years of experience managing software feature development from concept to an executable set of designs, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Security clearance
Experience managing projects that involve: JavaScript, React-Redux, Elasticsearch, WebGL, C++, C#, SQL/NoSQL, Docker, Unity, HTC Vive, Magic Leap, Cesium, Python

Responsibilities

Manage the product lifecycle from conception to launch.
Work directly with customers to determine their needs and define specific features.
Manage a variety of work which will include more than one concurrent project involving diverse and complex technical issues and creative content.
Communicate progress on projects and related tasks regularly to ensure stakeholder awareness, internally and externally.
Ensure products meet high standards and conform with customer program requirements, including technical tasks, schedules, costs, reporting, and facility/infrastructure compliance.
Assist in developing and orchestrating demonstrations and presentations.
Build strong and productive relationships across the organization and with remote customers.
