  • Translate market requirements into product-level requirements for Engineering and act as product authority in design reviews, resolving trade-offs among performance, cost and schedule.
  • Work with Engineering to develop features that improve end-user quality of service and experience, and drive design innovation through hands-on analysis.
  • Own products through the full new product introduction lifecycle, from concept to launch and in-life support; take requirements through stage-gate reviews and obtain approvals at each gate.
  • Track engineering progress against requirements, schedule and budget, escalating risks and trade-offs as needed.
  • Prepare Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Service Delivery teams for product launch and ongoing support.
  • Own Hydra terminal product-line profitability and track cost, pricing, revenue and margin performance.
  • Drive bill-of-materials and manufacturing-cost optimisation with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
