About The Position

The Product Manager, Stago Solutions, will be responsible for end-to-end lifecycle management of assigned Stago solutions, including launch, growth, optimization, and sunset. This role involves defining and executing portfolio strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives, managing the 4 Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) within a solutions-based framework, and identifying opportunities for portfolio expansion. The Product Manager will develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, market trends, and competitive positioning, translating these insights into clear value propositions. They will lead go-to-market strategies, deliver comprehensive launch plans, and equip sales and support teams with necessary tools. This role also requires cross-functional leadership, acting as a central point of contact across various departments and representing the North American market in global product development. Additionally, the Product Manager will define and articulate the value of Stago solutions, support the development of clinical evidence, engage with key opinion leaders, and own revenue and volume forecasting for their portfolio. They will monitor key performance indicators, leverage data for decision-making, manage budgets, and ensure disciplined execution of marketing initiatives while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also involves assisting with reports for Quality Systems reviews, acting as a communication conduit between global marketing and the North American region, and undertaking special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in related field from four-year college or university required
  • 4 to 6 years related experience required
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Must be able to travel internationally

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare, diagnostics, medical technology, product management, managing digital products, sales or laboratory environments strongly preferred
  • Medical technologist background a plus
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or clinical background) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end lifecycle management for assigned Stago solutions (launch, growth, optimization, and sunset)
  • Define and execute portfolio strategy aligned to corporate growth objectives
  • Manage the 4 Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) within a solutions-based framework
  • Identify opportunities and develop business cases for portfolio expansion or enhancement
  • Continuously assess portfolio performance and adjust strategy based on market dynamics
  • Develop deep understanding of customer workflows and pain points, clinical and operational drivers, market trends, reimbursement landscape and competitive positioning.
  • Build and maintain a robust competitive intelligence framework to inform strategy
  • Translate insights into clear value propositions and differentiated positioning
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally
  • Lead development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new and existing solutions
  • Deliver comprehensive launch plans including forecasting and demand planning, sales enablement tools and training and, Customer-facing messaging and value narratives.
  • Equip Sales, Applications, and Service teams with clear, compelling tools to drive adoption and retention
  • Partner with Market Access to support value-based selling and ensure a clear path to market in the US and Canada
  • Act as the central leader across Sales, Clinical Applications, Service & Support, Digital/IT, Supply Chain, Global Marketing:
  • Represent the North American market in global product development initiatives
  • Ensure alignment between global strategy and regional execution
  • Define and articulate the clinical, operational, and economic value of Stago solutions
  • Support development of clinical evidence, white papers and publications and customer case studies
  • Engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) and strategic customers to validate and strengthen positioning
  • Drive messaging that connects solutions to patient impact and lab performance outcomes
  • Own revenue and volume forecasting for assigned portfolio
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as market share, adoption rates, customer retention, profitability.
  • Leverage data and analytics to guide decision-making and identify growth opportunities
  • Manage budgets and ensure execution within financial targets
  • Lead and manage projects with clear timelines, ownership, and deliverables
  • Ensure disciplined execution across all marketing initiatives
  • Maintain alignment with compliance, regulatory, and quality requirements
  • Assist in preparation of reports and action plans to support the activities related to complaint analysis for Quality Systems reviews.
  • Interacts with and is the communication conduit between global marketing product managers and SNA for products in your area of responsibility
  • Special projects as assigned by leadership.
