About The Position

As a product manager on the Green Apron Service Team, you will lead the development and execution of deployment strategies, store positions, and routine guidance. You will support the integration of technologies into the deployment ecosystem to enhance operational efficiency and elevate excellence across Starbucks coffeehouses. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless implementation of initiatives that improve both partner and customer experiences. Your work will directly shape how Starbucks coffeehouses operate, enabling teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service while reducing friction and complexity. This product manager will contribute to Starbucks' success by managing the strategy, roadmap, and development of new products to achieve financial and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent related work experience or four years US military experience in a related MOS/C
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to confidently present objectives and desired outcomes to leadership and cross functional teams
  • Ability to resolve issues or debates independently in most situations
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in product or brand management preferably with a focus on operations, process improvement, or customer/partner experience
  • Ability to influencing others without authority to complete things in a timely manner

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single-threaded owner for product outcomes, driving coordination and ensuring product work is owned and supported by the right teams.
  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and vision, aligning with business goals and partner needs.
  • Gather and prioritize customer and partner needs, use cases and feedback into actionable requirements and success metrics.
  • Define required features and outcomes, using data and insights to guide product decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the program manager to align on timelines, resource allocation and strategic priorities across initiatives.
  • Partner with operations consultation managers on implementation while maintaining accountability for product outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions deliver on intended business outcomes.
  • Facilitate decisions by balancing risk, available information and shifting priorities.

  • If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.
  • For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
