WEXWEXUS•Remote, OH
•$89,800 - $120,400

About The Position

WEX is seeking an execution-driven, collaborative Product Manager (PM3) to own and scale digital capabilities in its mixed-energy and connected-fleet ecosystem. Based within the North American Mobility Product Team, the role focuses on merchant network integrations, third-party partner connections, and user-experience improvements across mobile apps and online portals. The Product Manager works hands-on with engineering, design, operations, marketing, and commercial teams to deliver practical solutions for fleet managers and drivers, and will receive guidance from a Senior PM while ramping up on WEX’s ecosystem. The role supports WEX’s expansion of EV and connected-fleet capabilities. It helps simplify digital fleet experiences, connect drivers and fleet operators to real-time charging networks, align technology, merchant, and commercial teams, and provide fleets with tools to optimize operations as they add electric and connected vehicles.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of Product Management experience, including ownership of features or product capabilities through the full development lifecycle.
  • Ability to write user stories, define acceptance criteria, prioritize backlogs, and deliver iteratively in an agile environment.
  • Ability to conduct customer discovery and field research with fleet managers and drivers to improve onboarding and usability.
  • Comfort reviewing behavioral data and dashboards and speaking directly with users and operations teams to inform trade-offs.
  • Ability to leverage vehicle data to build tools that help fleets optimize energy consumption, monitor operational efficiency, and transition to EV models.
  • Familiarity collaborating with product designers and using AI or design tools for rapid workflow prototyping.
  • Strong communication skills across engineering, business, and operational teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or background in EV charging networks, connected fleet data, payments, or API-based partner integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with fleet management systems or B2B platforms.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional delivery using AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT as a first-pass baseline to scale operational capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Own features end-to-end across mobile apps and customer portals, translating user needs and technical requirements into user stories and sprint priorities.
  • Improve usability and streamline digital onboarding for fleet managers and drivers to reduce friction and drop-offs.
  • Participate in customer calls, speak with fleet managers, and analyze operational feedback to inform product trade-offs.
  • Develop hypotheses, review behavioral data and dashboards, and test workflow improvements to measure adoption and support team OKRs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX design, operations, and merchant partners; keep delivery aligned and stakeholders informed about roadmap progress.
  • Work with UX design teams to create prototypes and test concepts before engineering build-out.
  • Support third-party partner and network integrations to expand EV charging transaction coverage, real-time authorizations, and session management.
  • Help enable onboarding, reporting, and operational support for public, private, and home fleet-charging scenarios.
  • Work with vehicle data and connected-car capabilities to help fleets optimize energy consumption and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with internal operations and customers to test EV solutions in real-world scenarios and troubleshoot execution.
