About The Position

Join us in Optum Bank, as a Product Owner as we build intuitive and seamless financial services experiences that bring together customer centric design principles with financial services best practices to support consumers and providers in healthcare. Healthcare is at a pivotal point and creating and designing intuitive financial services experiences that allow consumers and providers to focus on care delivery, while managing their financial positions is crucial to overall wellbeing. This position will interact with multiple levels and will leverage deep financial services and product management expertise. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Requirements

3+ years product management experience, with advanced understanding of agile product development methodologies
3+ years experience with financial services products, applications, and banking systems
3+ years experience with SLDC tools such as aha, jira, confluence
Knowledge and experience with technical solutions (Batch Processes, APIs, Kafka Events)
Proven ability to organize a backlog of clearly defined user stories that are effectively prioritized to meet targeted delivery dates

Nice To Haves

3+ years experience in applications systems analysis and/or programming roles, with a high proficiency in technical writing and technical documentation
Experience with Web/Portal projects. (Experience creating Wireframe)
Familiarity with database structures and the ability to write and execute SQL queries

Responsibilities

Define features, requirements, and leverage agile product management principles as you create financial products and offerings that are simple, intuitive, and meet complex healthcare financial services needs
Work with a broad matrix of stakeholders including, treasury, finance, credit, underwriters, engineering, and other business stakeholders through ideation, specification, design, test, launch, and deployment.
Provide input to partners and stakeholders on projects and planning activities such as impact identification, defining prioritization, efforts required and developing solutions
Capture requirements, prioritize features, support UAT activities, and oversee delivery of functionalities and products roadmap
Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
