About The Position

We are looking for a Product Manager to be responsible for the success of their brand. This role involves being a key member of a cross-functional squad and supporting the strategic direction for the brand. The Product Manager will develop and maintain a strong understanding of the therapeutic area, customer needs, patient journey, and regional differences that impact brand potential and success drivers. Collaboration with product and customer squads is essential. Bayer offers a flexible hybrid working environment for this permanent position based in Mississauga, Ontario.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business / Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience
  • Customer-centric decision making and mindset, with project execution based on customer insights
  • Adept at agile ways of working, including digital content and tools
  • Adept at working in highly-collaborative, lean, agile environments
  • Ability to build trust, promote openness, and establish mutual understanding across functions
  • Strength in conflict management
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional analytical skills
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, comfortable with taking risks and being innovative
  • Capable of translating insights into business priorities and delivering results with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic goals within an Agile marketing framework, liaising with internal stakeholders for buy-in and optimization.
  • Identify customer insights using market research, data analytics, and competitive intelligence to understand disease areas and customer needs.
  • Develop modular content for continuous rollout and produce content modules to address microsegments and support campaigns.
  • Ensure understanding and adherence to PAAB guidelines and internal requirements for content development.
  • Define and implement strategies for reaching customers in digital settings with dynamic content, focusing on user experience.
  • Establish strong working relationships with top Canadian thought leaders across multiple segments, collaborating with the Customer Engagement Team, especially market access.
  • Participate in and evaluate market research, analysis, promotions, public relations, and advertising for assigned brands, assessing success against plan.
  • Lead the development of educational and promotional materials, from disease state awareness to branded tools, post-Health Canada approval.
  • Ensure all activities and events are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, in accordance with Bayer's Safety, Compliance, and Sustainability Policies.
  • Promptly report all adverse events, product quality or technical complaints, and any other safety-related information within 24 hours to ensure compliance with company procedures.
