About The Position

Impact Team K, LLC. is currently seeking motivated individuals for a full time Product Manager career in Alpena. This position partners lesser experienced candidates with a Senior Product Manager mentor. Preference will be given to those with a Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering degree and experience in the areas of CAD (primarily with Solid Works), Microsoft Word, and Excel. Metal manufacturing experience is also preferred. Individuals must be detail oriented and have strong organizational and communication skills. Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Co-managing their specific product lines with their mentor.
  • Estimating, manufacturing methods, design, quality, lead times, inventory, application knowledge, technical resolution, and designing accessories for your product line.
  • Working closely with sales, estimating, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and customers to ensure the correct product for the application is designed and shipped.
  • Inventory Management.
  • Cost estimate products and services.
  • Development of manufacturing methods for new and existing products.
  • Continuous improvement of product quality, cost, delivery, and general manufacturing methods.
  • Price products and services to the market.
  • Technical Problem Resolution.
  • Opportunity Identification.
  • Identify product objections or hurdles.
  • Drive Continuous improvement.
  • Innovation.
  • Exploring new product design ideas.
  • Ensure all products and processes are compliant (Safety, Product, Industry regulation).
  • Drive actions and outcomes through independent decision-making.
  • Ensure products and services are aligned at the highest level with customers’ needs.
  • Build strong relationships and foster a positive work environment.
  • Proactively tackle unique challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Strategic execution from big-picture planning to detailed task initiatives.
  • Professionally represents the organization in high-level meetings and discussions.
