About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager Consultant to support a strategic Debt Platform Modernization Program. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, technology teams, external partners, developers, and QA engineers to define end-to-end business processes and translate them into actionable product requirements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on Product Manager who can drive requirements discovery, maintain a delivery-ready backlog, support implementation and testing activities, and ensure delivered solutions achieve the intended business outcomes. This position requires strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate effectively in complex and evolving environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops and working sessions with business stakeholders, SMEs, external partners, and delivery teams.
  • Document current-state & future-state business processes, decision points, dependencies, & operational workflows.
  • Facilitate alignment across stakeholders and drive timely resolution of requirement gaps and open questions.
  • Partner with leadership to translate business objectives & program priorities into a prioritized product roadmap & backlog.
  • Manage feature sequencing, dependencies, release scope, and sprint readiness.
  • Ensure epics, features, and user stories remain refined and ready for development and testing.
  • Define business workflows, business rules, data requirements, exception handling processes, & integration touchpoints.
  • Create and maintain epics, features, user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
  • Translate business needs into implementation-ready requirements that can be effectively executed by engineering team.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, QA engineers, business analysts, Finance, Operations, and third-party partners throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, implementation reviews, release preparation, & product demonstration.
  • Resolve functional questions and provide ongoing business context to delivery teams.
  • Partner with QA teams to review test strategies, test scenarios, and traceability against acceptance criteria.
  • Support defect triage, clarify expected business behavior, and coordinate user acceptance validation.
  • Evaluate completed functionality and recommend readiness for business acceptance and production deployment.
  • Collaborate with users & design teams to create & review workflow diagrams, wireframes, & prototypes using Figma.
  • Ensure solutions deliver intuitive, efficient, and well-controlled user experiences for both internal and external users.
  • Build & apply knowledge of debt issuance, securities settlement, trade lifecycle processes, & related workflows.
  • Leverage business & market insights to identify process improvements, challenge assumptions, & support informed product decisions.
