About The Position

As the Product Manager for Launch Monitors, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our products, from concept through launch and beyond. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy, development, and market success, ensuring our launch monitors meet the needs of athletes and coaches across various sports. This role will lead the development and growth of our golf launch monitor product line, expanding into baseball and other new sports and applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably with a focus on sports technology or consumer electronics.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex products from concept to market.
  • Strong understanding of launch monitors, sports technology, and the needs of athletes and coaches.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Passion for sports and a deep understanding of golf, baseball, and other sports is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for launch monitors, focusing on golf, baseball, and potential new sports applications.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • Define product vision, objectives, and key results (OKRs) in alignment with company goals.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to drive product development from ideation through launch.
  • Define product requirements, specifications, and use cases, ensuring they align with customer needs and industry standards.
  • Oversee product testing and validation to ensure quality, performance, and user satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points.
  • Monitor competitive products and emerging technologies to identify trends and potential areas for differentiation.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings.
  • Attend live sales demos or visit current customer sites to better understand user behavior.
  • Collaborate and help implement go-to-market plans, including pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create compelling product messaging and sales materials.
  • Support product launches with effective training and enablement for sales teams and distribution partners.
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely and successful product development.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to align product goals with business objectives and ensure smooth execution.
  • Foster strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Track product performance metrics, including sales, customer satisfaction, and market share.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on product progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine product strategies and drive continuous improvement.
