You and Your Job As an Associate or VP - SIP Product Manager you will be successful working together with senior product managers and clients to market solutions for their working capital needs around inventories, applying a risk-conscious mindset and sustainability principles while collaborating with a diverse team of colleagues. SIP is a globally leading business line that provides working capital financing for Rabobank’s Wholesale clients by temporarily taking ownership of commodities and other eligible inventory. As a SIP Product Manager, you will partner with coverage bankers to market approved SIP products to North American Wholesale clients and prospects. Your role ensures that all marketing activities align with the VCF Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) and the VCF Global Procedure on SIP. This includes executing the VCF and SIP strategy in full compliance with the regulatory framework applicable to SIP and VCF in North America and globally.

Requirements

  • Finance professional with min 5 + year’s work experience in Origination, Execution, or Portfolio Management
  • Understanding of Credit and Counterparty risk, and experience with credit approval processes within a financial institution
  • Experience with relationship management in relevant Front Office environment .
  • Exposure to legal matters, and understanding of regulatory frameworks is preferred
  • Self-motivated achiever who is strongly committed to meeting and exceeding objectives
  • Good Communication and Commercial skills, while being a team player is key
  • Ability to travel regionally 10 - 35% of the time
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Rabobank is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Market approved SIP products to North American Wholesale clients and prospects by presenting pitch decks and term sheets to them together with senior SIP product managers.
  • Foster seamless collaboration with key stakeholders in Utrecht, The Netherlands; a.o. SIP, Transaction Management, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams.
  • Work closely with Coverage Bankers to maintain and deepen relationships with SIP clients, and take responsibility over part of the existing SIP portfolio.
  • Deal execution by providing support for the approval applications, legal documentation and booking of new and existing facilities.
  • Maintain in control (risk, legal, and compliance) and adhere to Rabobank’s governance and regulatory standards in North America.
