About The Position

Stiltz Homelifts is hiring a Product Manager, Americas (Technical Services), based in Bethlehem, PA. This role will own what Stiltz sells across the US and Canada, including product selection, configurations, and jurisdictional approvals. The Product Manager will also lead the Technical Services team of six, responsible for training the dealer network and providing field support. A key responsibility is to establish and maintain a single source of truth for Stiltz product information in the Americas, ensuring consistency in sales, documentation, configuration, and installation. This role will also represent the Americas market in group product development, relaying customer needs to the UK engineering team.

  • Experience specifying requirements for configuration and ERP systems.
  • Experience writing and controlling technical documentation in a regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of elevator and platform lift codes in the US and Canada, including jurisdictional variations and working with authorities.
  • A degree, or equivalent demonstrable experience, in an engineering or technical discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Define product offerings and jurisdiction matrices for the US and Canada, detailing compatible options, approved configurations, and applicable regions.
  • Lead and develop the Technical Services team of six, focusing on training the dealer network and providing field support.
  • Maintain and enhance high service levels within the Technical Services team.
  • Oversee the training and certification of the dealer network, ensuring adherence to approved content and maintaining auditable records of trained personnel.
  • Define the standards for training and manage the certification and renewal cycle.
  • Specify Configurator content and rules, brief technical documentation, and manage NetSuite item data for Americas sales.
  • Automate permit preparation by integrating it into the Configurator, with validation from the Codes & Standards Advisor and a controlled change process.
  • Manage the dissemination of safety notices, technical bulletins, and product updates through a single channel of record, ensuring acknowledgment and understanding of safety-related content.
  • Act as the voice of the Americas market in product development, channeling feedback from dealers, sales, direct channels, and field operations to the engineering team via the ECR process.
  • Prioritize requests from the direct channel alongside dealer commitments based on customer impact.
