Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Engineering with knowledge in Paper & Board processes, or a related degree with a minimum of 5 years related experience in the paper industry.
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy with Microsoft Office, general enterprise resource planning systems and customer relationship management tools.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Available to travel frequently within North America.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Must be authorized to work in the US including eligibility to travel throughout North America and Europe.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical expert within our Roll Cover and Maintenance Technology team in the Valmet Packaging Services organization.
Provide technical advice to the sales team and customers to develop, sell, and successfully implement product or service solutions that will meet the customer’s needs.
Support customers, collaborate across sales, engineering, and operations, and help grow a critical part of our business.
Respond to enquiries from the organization's sales force or customers about the technical aspects of the organization's products and services.
Support troubleshooting.
Support product development.
Contribute to strategic planning.
Help ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Follow systems specifications and formalized representations of solutions (for example, flow charts, models) to configure systems that meet customer needs.
