About The Position

Aldevron, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Product Manager – RNA to support and lead initiatives that drive growth, differentiation, and product lifecycle in the RNA portfolio. This fully remote position reports to the Director, Product Management – RNA and is part of the RNA Business Unit. The role involves maintaining strong customer and market insights, defining multi-year portfolio strategies, managing product lifecycles from innovation to end-of-life, and overseeing financial performance and commercial enablement. The Product Manager will also act as a product lead for key client discussions and translate learnings into roadmap decisions. Requirements

  • B.S. or B.A. required.
  • 7+ years of experience in client‑facing roles, with demonstrated experience in product management and/or sales.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of product management experience is required.
  • Experience within the life sciences or a related healthcare field is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing projects in a regulated biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device-related field is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to forecast risks and implement sustainable solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • An MBA or Advanced degree in a scientific field preferred (e.g., cell biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, or biochemistry).
  • Strong cell and gene therapy and life science industry understanding.
  • Demonstrated success with stage gate processes for product development.
  • Deployment and utilization of customer and market insight frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong customer and market insights in partnership with the Strategy team through qualitative/quantitative research and customer engagement.
  • Identify unmet customer needs in relevant market segments and develop new product/service concepts.
  • Define multi-year portfolio strategy, make innovation investment tradeoffs, and drive portfolio rationalization to solve valuable problems.
  • Drive alignment across R&D, Ops, Quality, and Commercial on resourcing and tradeoffs to unblock delivery across functions.
  • Maintain the lifecycle of products and custom manufacturing, including innovation through a gated development process, go-to-market planning and launch execution, growth and optimization, and end-of-life strategy.
  • Work cross-functionally with Commercial and Marketing for pricing, order, and revenue forecasting, and margin performance.
  • Own sales enablement and training, deliver differentiated messaging and value proposition, and ensure systematic feedback loops from the field.
  • Act as product lead for key client discussions, handle escalations, and convert learning into innovation roadmap decisions.
