About The Position

Ford is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and execution of pricing and promotions strategies for our non-vehicle commerce portfolio on Ford.com. This critical role will drive profitability and customer engagement for accessories, parts, EV chargers, and branded merchandise. The ideal candidate will possess a strong retail planning background, a deep understanding of regional pricing dynamics and sell-through methodologies, and a proven ability to influence stakeholders and educate cross-functional partners, particularly in finance, on best practices to ensure successful strategy implementation. Although a candidate willing to relocate or work onsite in our Dearborn, MI office is strongly preferred, a remote candidate with the ability to work Eastern Hours is acceptable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in retail planning, merchandising, or a similar role with a focus on pricing and promotions.
  • Demonstrated experience with regional pricing strategies and optimizing product sell-through in a retail or e-commerce environment.
  • 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in an e-commerce or digital product setting.
  • 3+ years of proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, product, marketing, and sales. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Define and evolve the end-to-end pricing and promotions strategy for all non-vehicle commerce products (accessories, parts, EV chargers, merchandise) sold on Ford.com, aligning with business objectives and market trends.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing opportunities, understand regional pricing variations, and assess promotional effectiveness.
  • Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Collaborate closely with finance and analytics teams to develop robust pricing models, forecast sales and profit impacts of promotional activities, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pricing and sell-through.
  • Regional Pricing Expertise: Leverage a strong understanding of regional retail dynamics to tailor pricing and promotional offers that maximize sales and profitability across different markets.
  • Promotions Management: Plan, execute, and analyze promotional campaigns, including discounts, bundles, and loyalty programs, ensuring optimal timing and targeting to achieve sell-through targets.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Effectively communicate and advocate for pricing and promotions strategies to senior leadership, product teams, marketing, sales, and finance partners, building consensus and securing buy-in.
  • Financial Partnership & Education: Act as a subject matter expert, educating finance partners on retail best practices in pricing and promotions, demonstrating the financial impact of various strategies, and fostering a collaborative approach to achieving financial goals.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously monitor the performance of pricing and promotional strategies, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven adjustments to optimize outcomes.
  • Product Lifecycle Integration: Partner with product development and merchandising teams to ensure pricing and promotion strategies are integrated throughout the product lifecycle, from launch to end-of-life.
  • Tool & Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities to improve pricing tools, processes, and data infrastructure to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
