Product Manager Platform

Oxford RoadRemote, OR, OR
$100,000 - $145,000

About The Position

The Product Manager, Platform partners directly with the VP Product to take ownership of product operations, initiative structuring, and roadmap execution across the Platform. This is not a role about inventing vision from scratch. It is about operationalizing vision into structured, prioritized, and well-executed outcomes. This role sits at the center of intake, prioritization, spec writing, cross-functional alignment, delivery sequencing, feedback loops, and adoption measurement. The VP Product sets architecture, product direction, and long-term platform strategy. The Product Manager ensures execution clarity, operational rigor, adoption momentum, and initiative completion. Success in this role directly determines how fast and how smoothly the Platform scales. VP Product sets the direction. You make it land.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in B2B SaaS or internal workflow platform environments
  • High competency working with technically complex systems including APIs, databases, and automation pipelines
  • Experience with Salesforce-integrated systems
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to translate ambiguous direction into structured, actionable PRDs
  • High attention to detail and a bias toward clarity, structure, and operational rigor over speed and improvisation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage scope boundaries, say no with clear justification, and hold initiatives to defined requirements without deviation
  • Consistent track record of meeting project deliverables on time and to specification, with no missed tollgates, no scope creep, and no deadline slippage; this role requires someone who closes what they open
  • Experience working directly with and reducing the operational load on senior leadership

Nice To Haves

  • Proven work on AI and ML-driven product features, with the ability to translate model behavior and data pipeline logic into clear product requirements
  • Demonstrated experience scaling internal tools or platforms across 100 or more users, with measurable improvements in adoption and operational efficiency
  • Proven ability to coordinate and drive accountability with offshore development teams, including asynchronous communication, milestone tracking, and delivery management across time zones

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage structured intake processes that give every team a clear, consistent path for submitting product requests
  • Triage feedback and requests from 200+ active platform users, distinguishing genuine friction from noise and converting high-signal issues into actionable initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, prioritized backlog that reflects current strategic direction and is accessible and understood by all stakeholders
  • Ensure the product team is working on the right things at the right time, not just the loudest requests
  • Translate high-level product direction from the VP Product into clear problem statements, defined scope boundaries, success metrics, and structured PRDs
  • Prevent scope creep by establishing and holding clear initiative boundaries from the outset
  • Ensure every initiative has defined success criteria before development begins
  • Maintain architectural alignment with VP Product throughout initiative design and execution
  • Maintain quarterly and monthly roadmap clarity so every stakeholder knows what is being built, why, and when
  • Sequence initiatives based on impact, dependencies, and constraints, ensuring the highest-value work ships first
  • Surface risks and blockers early, before they become delivery failures
  • Ensure no initiative stalls due to unclear ownership, missing inputs, or lack of follow-through
  • Partner with offshore development resources, implementation leads, and enablement teams to drive delivery against defined milestones
  • Track initiative progress in real time, removing blockers before they escalate and keeping all parties aligned on scope and timelines
  • Serve as the connective tissue between product direction and delivery execution across all active initiatives
  • Measure platform usage and feature adoption following each launch, identifying where adoption is strong and where it is breaking down
  • Identify friction patterns in user behavior and bring them back to the product team as structured, prioritized input
  • Close the loop between user feedback and product iteration, ensuring the Platform improves based on real-world behavior, not assumptions
  • Partner with the Enablement Lead to ensure adoption data informs both training interventions and product decisions
  • Weekly: Backlog review with VP Product, delivery status on active initiatives, and blocker resolution
  • Monthly: Roadmap review, adoption measurement, feedback synthesis, and intake process assessment
  • Quarterly: Roadmap planning cycle, initiative prioritization, and product operations retrospective
