About The Position

Citi is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Product Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy, launch, and ongoing growth of a new, state-of-the-art Personal Financial Management (PFM) product. This is a high-visibility, individual contributor role at the forefront of Citi's commitment to delivering innovative digital tools that empower our clients to achieve their financial goals. As the Product Manager, you will be the voice of the customer and the market expert, responsible for defining the product's value proposition, crafting compelling messaging, and driving market adoption. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating extensively with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders to bring this critical product to life and ensure its sustained success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, with a significant portion in B2C financial services, fintech, or a related technology sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling consumer-facing digital products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience working within a highly regulated industry, with a strong understanding of the associated controls, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop a long-term vision and translate it into a tactical, actionable plan.
  • Leadership through Influence: Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects forward as an individual contributor in a complex, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive GTM strategy for the PFM product, including defining the target audience, positioning, messaging, and launch plan to achieve aggressive adoption and engagement targets.
  • Orchestrate the successful launch of the PFM product, acting as the central point of contact for all marketing-related activities. Ensure seamless coordination and alignment across Product Management, Technology, Brand Marketing, Public Relations, Legal, Compliance, and Customer Support teams.
  • Drive the post-launch marketing roadmap to increase user acquisition, engagement, and retention. Develop and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, email, in-app, social) and analyze their performance to optimize results.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on the PFM landscape, competitive products, and consumer trends. Partner with the Research team to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, translating customer insights into actionable recommendations for product and marketing strategies.
  • Craft a clear, differentiated, and compelling value proposition and messaging framework that resonates with the target audience. Ensure this messaging is consistently applied across all customer touchpoints.
  • Act as a key partner to a diverse set of internal teams. Engage proactively with Controls and Governance, Oversight, Risk, and Legal partners to ensure all marketing materials and campaigns are fully compliant with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Oversee the creation of a wide range of marketing assets, including website content, product tutorials, videos, blog posts, email campaigns, and sales enablement materials to support the product's launch and ongoing promotion.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for product marketing initiatives. Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
