Product Manager - Peripheral Vascular Health

MedtronicPlymouth, MN
$103,200 - $154,800Onsite

About The Position

At Medtronic you can begin a life-long career of exploration and innovation, while helping champion healthcare access and equity for all. You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world. We’re looking for a Senior Product Specialist to own the Abre Venous Stent franchise and lead Medtronic’s efforts to expand the Pelvic Venous Disease (PeVD) market globally. This is a high-visibility role at the center of one of the most dynamic spaces in peripheral vascular — where a growing body of clinical evidence, an underdiagnosed patient population, and a differentiated product portfolio create real opportunity for the right product manager to drive meaningful growth. You’ll act as the business owner for Abre, partnering across U.S. sales, global marketing, and physician customers to shape strategy, build demand, and translate clinical insight into commercial impact. If you’re energized by complex markets, cross-functional leadership, and the chance to help define how a disease state is treated worldwide, read on. At Medtronic, we bring bold ideas forward with speed and decisiveness to put patients first in everything we do. In-person exchanges are invaluable to our work. We’re working a minimum of 4 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience (2+ with advanced degree), with a track record in product management, marketing, or sales (or a strong combination)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated ability to own a P&L or franchise — including forecasting, pricing, and IBP-style planning processes

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Experience building and executing strategic marketing plans, ideally in a launch or market-development context
  • Strong commercial instincts and comfort working closely with field sales; willingness to travel to be where the business is
  • Ability to influence without authority across global, cross-functional teams
  • Clinical fluency or the demonstrated ability to develop it quickly; comfort in cath labs, ORs, and physician conversations
  • Peripheral vascular, venous, or interventional experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own the Abre Venous Stent business. Serve as the product manager for Abre across the full commercial lifecycle — pricing strategy, demand forecasting, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), inventory positioning, and lifecycle management.
  • Build the PeVD market globally. Pelvic Venous Disease is an emerging, underpenetrated space with enormous patient impact. You’ll partner with global (OUS) marketing counterparts to align market development strategy across regions, share best practices, and accelerate adoption through coordinated campaigns, KOL engagement, and disease-state education.
  • Develop and execute annual strategic marketing plans. Translate market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and customer insight into clear strategies and measurable tactics. Build multi-level marketing campaigns that reach physicians, hospital decision-makers, and patients — and that arm our field with tools that actually move share.
  • Enable the U.S. field to win. Sales reps will be among your closest partners. You’ll build the resources, training, messaging, and creative programs that help them gain share in venous stenting — and you’ll spend meaningful time in the field with reps and physicians to ground your strategy in what’s actually happening in cases and accounts.
  • Engage physician customers directly. Build durable relationships with interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, and interventional cardiologists. Translate their clinical perspectives into product positioning, evidence strategy, and market development priorities.
  • Partner cross-functionally. Work closely with R&D, clinical, regulatory, medical education, health economics, and supply chain to ensure the franchise has what it needs to grow — from evidence generation to messaging to reliable supply.
