About The Position

As a Product Manager on the Coffeehouse Workforce Management Team, you will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of roster management solutions that ensure Coffeehouses are able to support customer demand, while maintaining partner preferred hours. You will be the business owner of data tools, digital tools, and operational best practices, collaborating closely with Data / Decision Science, Starbucks Technology, Finance, Retail Operations, and Coffeehouse Excellence. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will deliver solutions that reduce complexity, improve hours consistency, and deliver financial commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent related work experience or four years US military experience in a related MOS/C
  • Data literacy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, including proficiency in ppt storytelling
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to confidently present objectives and desired outcomes to leadership and cross functional teams
  • Ability to resolve issues or debates independently in most situations
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • 3-4 years of progressive experience in product, brand or operations management preferably with a focus on operations, process improvement, or customer/partner experience
  • Ability to influencing others without authority to complete things in a timely manner

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single-threaded owner for product outcomes, driving coordination and ensuring product work is owned and supported by the right teams.
  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and vision, aligning with business goals and partner needs.
  • Connect the dots across Staffing, Scheduling, and Roster Management to anticipate future needs and support crossfunctional innovation.
  • Run headcount and hiring scenarios to inform financial planning and training budgets for Coffeehouses across the US and CAN.
  • Gather and prioritize business and partner needs, use cases, and feedback into actionable requirements and success metrics.
  • Define required features and outcomes, leveraging data and business insights to guide product decisions and measure impact.
  • Manage project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful product launches.
  • Partner with implementation managers while maintaining accountability for product outcomes.
  • Facilitate decisions by balancing risk, available information, and shifting priorities.
