About The Position

Stripe is looking for AI-enabled builders for its 12-month intensive training program. This program is designed for early-career engineers who can solve problems, write code, ship features, and iterate quickly, with a focus on elevating Stripe’s craft and quality. Participants will be paired with a host team, given a broad mandate, and ideally placed in a full-time Product Manager role after completion. The program emphasizes deep user engagement, owning the entire product lifecycle, and fostering an ownership mindset to overcome technical and process challenges.

Requirements

• Early career engineers with a CS or engineering degree.
• Ability to solve problems, write code, ship features, and iterate quickly.
• Focus on elevating Stripe’s craft and quality.
• 0-2 years of professional experience (internships, personal projects, or school experience are valued).
• AI-enabled building skills.

Responsibilities

• Embed deeply with Stripe’s users to understand their needs and forge new solutions, leveraging AI for insights, automations, and features.
• Own the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery through design, implementation, deployment, and iteration.
• Work within a host team (e.g., Dashboard, Docs, Crypto, Payment Methods) with the goal of landing a full-time Product Manager role.
• Demonstrate an ownership mindset by navigating technical constraints, unclear requirements, and process friction.
• Optimize workflows and tooling to increase leverage, identifying and automating or improving bottlenecks.
• Show others how to achieve end goals through improved processes and automation.
